MEZITA è una DJ e curatrice musicale con base in Svizzera. Attiva da diversi anni nella scena elettronica svizzera, sviluppa una direzione artistica che crea un ponte tra la musica elettronica da club — Global Bass, Dubstep, Dancehall — e ritmi radicati nelle sonorità della diaspora latina. Attraverso i suoi DJ set, MEZITA esplora paesaggi sonori percussivi, immersivi e fortemente fisici. Accanto alla sua attività come DJ, è anche attivamente coinvolta nella curatela di eventi. RAKATA è un progetto dedicato alla celebrazione della musica elettronica e latina, creando spazi in cui il DJing si intreccia con performance artistiche come danza e pole dance.
MEZITA is a DJ and music curator based in Switzerland. Active on the Swiss electronic scene for several years, she develops an artistic direction that bridges electronic club music (Global Bass, Dubstep, Dancehall) with rhythms rooted in Latin diasporic sounds. Through her DJ sets, MEZITA explores percussive, immersive and highly physical soundscapes. Alongside her DJ practice, she is actively involved in event curation. RAKATA, a project dedicated to celebrating electronic and Latin music, creating spaces where DJing intersects with artistic performances such as dance and pole dance.
