Crocodiles

I Crocodiles – Charles Rowell e Brandon Welchez – si conoscono da adolescenti a San Diego. Suonano insieme in diverse formazioni, inclusa quella dei the Plot to Blow Up the Eiffel Tower, dove Welchez canta e Rowell è a alla chitarra. I due decidono allora di formare un proprio gruppo e così nascono i Crocodiles nell’aprile 2008. Dopo la realizzazione di un 7” autoprodotto, il loro singolo “Neo Jesus” viene campionato dai No Age; per l’album di debutto bisogna invece aspettare l’aprile del 2009, quando esce SUMMER OF HATE. Sempre nel 2009 il duo realizza un 7” con i Dum Dum Girls. Nell’estate del 2010 esce il secondo capitolo SLEEP FOREVER, seguito da ENDLESS FLOWERS nel 2012. il nuovo disco è uscito ad aprile per Wild Honey Rds “Greetings from Hell”.

Crocodiles — Charles Rowell and Brandon Welchez — met as teenagers in San Diego. They played together in several bands, including The Plot to Blow Up the Eiffel Tower, where Welchez sang and Rowell played guitar. The two then decided to form their own group, and Crocodiles were born in April 2008. After releasing a self-produced 7”, their single “Neo Jesus” was sampled by No Age. Their debut album, however, arrived in April 2009 with the release of Summer of Hate. Also in 2009, the duo released a 7” with Dum Dum Girls. In the summer of 2010, their second chapter, Sleep Forever, came out, followed by Endless Flowers in 2012. Their new album, Greetings from Hell, was released in April on Wild Honey Records.
