BAD HONKO è un progetto solista nato a Livorno dalla mente di Marco Zaninello, batterista con una lunga militanza alle spalle tra Appaloosa, Peter Kernel e Camilla Sparksss. Il live si costruisce su pad elettronici e frammenti di batteria acustica, in un territorio dove tekno, noise e pulsioni tribali si fondono senza mediazioni. Un suono fisico, denso, costruito per colpire. Nel 2018 esce Kilo40 (Aloch Dischi / Santavalova Records). Il nuovo album è attualmente in lavorazione, con uscita prevista per l’autunno 2026. Oscurità e distorsione con amore.
BAD HONKO is a solo project born in Livorno from the mind of Marco Zaninello, a drummer with a long-standing background in bands such as Appaloosa, Peter Kernel and Camilla Sparksss. The live performance is built around electronic pads and fragments of acoustic drums, in a territory where tekno, noise and tribal impulses merge without mediation. A physical, dense sound, designed to hit hard.
In 2018, he released Kilo40 on Aloch Dischi / Santavalova Records. The new album is currently in the works, with its release planned for autumn 2026. Darkness and distortion with love.
